Federal law requires Huntington Debt Holding, LLC and its affiliates, (referenced below as “Us” “We”), to tell you how We collect, share and protect your personal information. Please read this notice carefully to understand what We do.

This information can include, for example, your Social Security number, account balances, transaction history, payment history, credit history and credit card or other debt. We collect this from:

  • Information about your transactions with Us.

  • Information about your transactions with nonaffiliated third parties; and

  • Information from a consumer reporting agency.


DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: We do not share your personal information with affiliates or nonaffiliated third parties except as necessary to service or maintain your account, and as authorized by law, including the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. We disclose personal information to affiliates and nonaffiliated third parties only for our everyday business purposes or to report to credit bureaus, and only to the extent necessary for Us to service or maintain your account in the ordinary course of our business.

We have contractual agreements with nonaffiliated third parties that prohibit their disclosure or use of your personal information other than to carry out the purposes for which it was shared. Some of the purposes for which the information may be shared include processing transactions, maintaining or servicing account(s), responding to court orders and legal investigations, reporting to credit bureaus, or as otherwise permitted by law.

Examples of nonaffiliated companies We may share information with include:

  • Credit reporting agencies.

  • Companies that assist Us in servicing your account.

  • The original creditor; and

  • Other entities with whom you tell Us to share your personal information.

CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY: We restrict access to your personal information to employees or service providers who need the information to service your account(s). To protect your personal information from unauthorized access and use, we use security measures that comply with federal law. These measures include computer safeguards and secured files and buildings. Our policies and procedures are appropriate to our company’s size and complexity, the nature and scope of our activities and the sensitivity of the customer information it handles.
